Finally excellent craft coffee in the area!! So happy this place opened! They make their own syrups in house and are amazing. Try their holiday spice which has strong cardamom in addition to the classic spices sweetened with maple syrup. This place is a gem that we are lucky to get in this area.

I've been saying for years that this side of Chula deserves a small business owned coffee shop. And we got it! This place is the best. The cafe de la olla is a must try. Great urban European style atmosphere.

Casa De Otay started because the Otay Ranch community asked for a coffee shop. So the owners, neighbors who live here, built one and brought it home.
There are two Casa De Otay locations in Millenia, the heart of Otay Ranch in Chula Vista: The Casa on Metro Ave and The Casita in Metro Park. Both are rooted in the same idea: listen to the community and show up for it. That’s what this place is, and why people keep coming back.

At both Casa De Otay locations in Otay Ranch. We blend our ceremonial grade Japanese matcha fresh in small batches throughout the day. The Banana Matcha, made with banana purée, is the drink we're known for. We also make a classic Matcha Latte and a Strawberry Matcha with strawberry purée, plus seasonal matchas that change throughout the year. Get it hot or iced with whole, oat, almond, coconut, soy, or nonfat milk.
Yes. The Casa has the full menu: empanadas from Queridas Cocina (our top seller), breakfast burritos from Burritos El Champ, avocado toast, Virtu chia parfaits and protein bowls, Mylk Labs oatmeal, and pastries delivered daily from Split Bakehouse, both vegan and non-vegan. The Casita serves pastries and oatmeal.

We are in Millenia, walking distance from the Ayres Hotel, Otay Ranch Town Center, and Metro Park, and two miles from the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center. We serve Otay Ranch, Eastlake, and the surrounding neighborhoods.
The Casita is a blue shipping container in Metro Park. Walk-up window, outdoor seating, pastries and oatmeal, no restroom. The quick stop. The Casa is our indoor cafe on Metro Ave with seating, wifi, outlets, a restroom, and the full menu.
Yes, at The Casa. Free wifi, outlets throughout, indoor seating, restroom. Laptops and long stays welcome. The Casita has wifi but outdoor seating only.
Both locations are kid and stroller friendly, and The Casa has a little pretend cafe for kids. The Casita is fully dog friendly. At The Casa, service dogs come inside and all dogs are welcome on the patio.
